Tuna and Pasta in Creamy Lemon Sauce

Canned tuna is tossed with hot pasta and a creamy lemon sauce to create this quick and delicious weeknight dinner meal the entire family will appreciate. 


  • 3 cans of tuna, drained
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound spiral pasta
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • Basil leaves, torn
  • Chili flakes, to sprinkle
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper


  1. Cook the pasta ‘al dente’ according to package directions, drain well and then return back to the pot.
  2. Add the tuna, crème fraiche, lemon juice, parsley, basil, chile flakes and a few generous pinches of salt and pepper to the hot pasta and then toss to coat. Serve immediately.
