Canned tuna is tossed with hot pasta and a creamy lemon sauce to create this quick and delicious weeknight dinner meal the entire family will appreciate.
Ingredients
- 3 cans of tuna, drained
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound spiral pasta
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- Basil leaves, torn
- Chili flakes, to sprinkle
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Cook the pasta ‘al dente’ according to package directions, drain well and then return back to the pot.
- Add the tuna, crème fraiche, lemon juice, parsley, basil, chile flakes and a few generous pinches of salt and pepper to the hot pasta and then toss to coat. Serve immediately.
