A flavor packed ham and sausage stew, slow cooked so you can set it and forget it! Wonderful served with warm, buttered tortillas.
Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked, diced ham
- 1 pound smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 3 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (7 ounce) can diced green chilies
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans with liquid
- 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons cocoa
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Mix everything together in a greased slow cooker. Cook covered for 5-7 hours on low.
