These fun cookies make a healthy snack and they taste delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1-1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1-1/4 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries

Directions

  1. Mix together applesauce, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; set aside.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff, then blend into applesauce mixture.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  4. Blend flour combination into applesauce mixture.
  5. Fold in oats, chocolate chips, walnuts and cranberries.
  6. Drop by teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheets.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
