Slow cooked baked beans.
Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package dried bavy beans, sorted and rinsed
- 11 cups water
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoonn liquid smoke
Directions
- In a large pot mix the beans and 10 cups of the water over high heat. Bring to a boil then reduce, cover and simmer for 2 hours. Drain.
- Mix together the beans with all the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours.
