Slow cooked baked beans.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) package dried bavy beans, sorted and rinsed
  • 11 cups water
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoonn liquid smoke

Directions

  1. In a large pot mix the beans and 10 cups of the water over high heat. Bring to a boil then reduce, cover and simmer for 2 hours. Drain.
  2. Mix together the beans with all the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours.
