Chilled tomato and vegetable salad.
Ingredients
- 4 cups tomatoes, stewed
- 1/3 cup onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup green pepper, chopped
- 3/4 cup celery, chopped
- 4 tablespoon sugar
- 6 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Drain and dice the tomatoes. Mix in the onion, green pepper and celery.
- Combine the remaining ingredients in another container. Combine with the vegetables.
- Refrigerate for 6 hours prior to serving.
