Tomato juice and drippings gravy.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons meat drippings
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup tomato juice
- 1 1/2 cups cold water
Directions
- Heat the drippings in the skillet. Mix in the flour, salt and pepper. Heat until dark brown.
- Combine the tomato juice and water, and mix in to the skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes.
