Toffee Nut Cookie Bars

Directions

1. Cream butter and brown sugar.
2. Add egg yolk, flour and vanilla; mix until stiff.
3. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
4. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until crust becomes golden brown.
5. Add chocolate chips to cookie crust immediately after removing from oven; when chocolate melts, spread over crust evenly.
6. Sprinkle chopped nuts over all, then cut into bars or squares.
