This easy sauté makes a great stand-alone side dish, but is even better served over a steak. If peppers alone aren’t enough for you, add mushrooms or zucchini to the mix. This tasty dish can also be topped with shredded parmesan cheese during the last few minutes of cooking.


  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Clean and chop peppers.
  2. Warm a skillet with olive oil, then add peppers. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cook, stirring frequently, for 10-15 minutes or until peppers are tender-crisp.
  4. Serve immediately.
