This version of The Tipperary Cocktail can be found in the Savoy Cocktail book. Equal parts of Irish whiskey, green Chartreuse, and sweet vermouth make this a somewhat complex, enjoyable drink.

Ingredients

3/4 ounce Irish whiskey
3/4 ounce green Chartreuse
3/4 ounce sweet Italian vermouth

Directions

Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Slowly stir the mixture for 40 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass; serve immediately.
