A popular French cocktail that uses a mix of cognac with Cointreau, garnish this drink with a lemon twist for an elegant presentation.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces high-quality cognac
  • 1/2 ounce Cointreau
  • juice of half a lemon
  • twist of lime

Directions

  1. Place the cognac, Cointreau and lemon juice in a shaker full of ice.
  2. Shake the mixture vigorously for 15 seconds and then strain into a martini glass.
