This classic cocktail, which was first referred to in a 1935 edition of ‘Old Mr. Boston,’ is a well-balanced blend of gin, Cointreau and pineapple juice.
- 2 ounces gin
- 1/2 ounce Cointreau
- 1/2 ounce pineapple juice, unsweetened
- Pre-chill a cocktail glass by placing it into the freezer for 5 minutes.
- Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into the chilled cocktail glass; serve immediately.
