Even though the Colonial is considered to be a relative of the Hemingway Daiquiri, it still manages to maintain its own unique character and personality.

Ingredients

1-1/2 ounces dry gin
1/2 ounce grapefruit juice
3 dashes maraschino liqueur

Directions

Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass; serve immediately.
