This Gin, Campari, dry vermouth and fresh blood orange juice cocktail was created by Jeffrey Morgenthaler whose information on bartending and mixology have become one of the best resources for mixologists and enthusiasts worldwide. 


  • 1-1/2 ounces Gin
  • 3/4 ounce Campari
  • 3/4 ounce dry vermouth
  • 1-1/2 ounces fresh blood orange juice


  1. Place a martini glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
  2. Put the gin, Campari, dry vermouth and fresh blood orange juice into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds to combine.
  3. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and then serve immediately.
