Chilled champagne is at its best when combined with gin, yellow Chartreuse, a dash of bitters and a sugar cube. 


  • Champagne, chilled
  • 1/2 ounce gin
  • 1/8 ounce yellow Chartreuse
  • a dash orange bitters
  • Sugar Cube


  1. Place the sugar cube into a champagne flute and then add the yellow Chartreuse.
  2. Add the bitters, and then pour in the gin followed by the champagne; serve immediately.
