Soaking hot chile peppers in rum gives the spirit an enjoyable kick of spicy heat. Enjoy it served over ice or mix it in your favorite cocktails.

  • 1 handful Thai hot chile peppers
  • 1 bottle (750-milliliter) white rum

  1. Place the rum and the chile pepper into a container. Seal the container tightly and then place in a cool and dry area for 4 days to allow the flavors to blend.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve and store in an airtight bottle until ready to use.
