A lemon and tequila cocktail party punch.


  • 24 lemons, washed
  • 1 cup superfine sugar
  • 6 quarts crushed ice or small ice cubes
  • 1 bottle tequila (1 liter)


  1. Chop the lemons into eighths. Add to the bottom of a very large bowl or cooler and cover with the sugar. Use a potato masher or the back of a wooden spoon to crush the lemons, continuing until the sugar has dissolved. Stir in the ice and tequila.
