- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
- Place the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, garlic and ginger into a bowl and whisk vigorously until the sugar has completely dissolved.
- Thoroughly coat the protein of your choice with the marinade and then set aside for 30 minutes to marinate prior to cooking.
