- Serving: Marinade for 1-1/2 pounds steak
Before you add a steak to a marinade, use a sharp knife to score the top of the steak; it will allow the flavors to better permeate and tenderize the meat.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and whisk vigorously until completely blended.
- Put the steaks and the marinade into a shallow dish and flip the steaks a few times to coat. Cover the steaks and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours prior to cooking.
