Baked, creamy quail dinner.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 quail
- 2 cups light cream
Directions
- In a large skillet heat the margarine and oil.
- Combine the flour, salt and pepper and coat the quail with it. Brown the quail in the skillet, remove and drain.
- Loosen the crumbs in the skillet and pour in the cream, stirring frequently.
- Add the quail back to the skillet and cover. Simmer on low heat, adding more cream as needed, until tender.
