Stuffed Mushrooms are always a favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms
  • 2 small green onions with tops, chopped
  • 4 slices bread, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Remove mushroom stems and chop finely. Saute chopped mushrooms and onions lightly in skillet in small amount of oil. Add bread cubes, garlic salt and lemon juice, tossing to mix. Stir in egg; simmer for 1 minute.
  2. Stuff mushroom caps with mixture. Arrange in oiled 5 by 12 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes.
