Tangy Lemon Pudding is a old fashioned, homemade dessert.


  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup milk


  1. Cream together butter and sugar and add flour. Beat egg yolks well in separate bowl. Add egg yolks, lemon juice and milk to creamed mixture.
  2. Beat egg whites in separate bowl until stiff and peaks form. Fold egg whites into mixture.
  3. Place mixture in a small baking pan and put in larger pan filled with hot water. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
