Tangy Green Beans taste great served cold and will look great on a vegetable tray.


  • 1 pound green beans
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano


  1. In 12 inch skillet over medium heat, in 1 inch boiling water, heat beans and water to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes or until beans are tender-crisp; drain.
  2. In medium bowl, combine green beans with remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour to blend flavors, stirring occasionally.
