Quick tamale, chili and cheese casserole.

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can chili
  • 7 tamales (fresh or canned) with husks removed
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cups broken corn chips
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Pour the chili into a 2 quart baking dish. Chop the tamales into 1-inch pieces. Spread on top of the chili. Layer the onions, chips and cheese on top.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes.
