Sweet Potatoes and Pecans

A simple, crunchy sweet potato side dish.


  • 2 (17 ounce) cans sweet potatoes, drained and divided
  • 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  2. Slice half of the potatoes and arrange in the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Mix together the brown sugar, butter and pecans. Sprinkle half of the mixture over the potatoes. Repeat the layers.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes.
