Sweet Pineapple Cookies

Directions

1. Cream shortening, sugar and egg.
2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg.
3. Blend flour combination into egg mixture.
4. Fold in pineapple.
5. Cover and refrigerate dough for 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.
6. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets.
7. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
