This mixed fruit, flax and whey smoothie packs in enough vitamins and nutrients to get you out the door and moving with enough energy and verve to help you face a new day.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened pomegranate or cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 organic lemon, washed
  • 1 scoop whey protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds, ground
  • 4 frozen organic strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen organic blueberries

Directions

  1. Place the pomegranate or cranberry juice, water, lemon, whey, flax seed, strawberries and blueberries into a blender, and process until the mixture is smooth. Serve immediately.
