Surprise Marble Ricotta Cake

The surprise in Surprise Marble Ricotta cake is when the ricotta comes up to the top during baking.

Ingredients

  • 1 box marble cake mix
  • 2 pounds ricotta
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix cake as directed on box. Pour in greased and floured 9 by 13 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix sugar, eggs, ricotta and vanilla in a bowl. Spoon mixture on top of unbaked cake. Bake at 325 degrees F for 75 minutes. Store cake in refrigerator.
