Supreme Chocolate Cake is frosted while it's still warm resulting in a very moist and rich cake.
Ingredients
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 cup water
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups flour
- 1 2/3 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- Icing: 1 cup confectioner's sugar
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
Directions
- Boil margarine, water and cocoa. Add sour cream, flour, sugar, salt, soda, vanilla, eggs; mix well. Pour into a greased 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-50 minutes.
- Prepare icing: Add sugar, milk, and cocoa to softened margarine. Spread on cake while still warm.
