Super Simple Chocolate Cake

Super Simple Chocolate Cake is a moist, made from scratch cake.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Combine flour and sugar. In a saucepan, bring to boil the margarine, cocoa and water. Pour over dry ingredients and mix. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla.
  2. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes. Frost as desired.
