Always a snack favorite, sugar coated pecans.
Ingredients
- 5 cups pecans
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 5 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Directions
- Preheat the ovens to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat the pecans until browned.
- Fold the sugar and salt into the egg whites. Fold the pecans into the mixture.
- Melt the butter in a skillet and pour the pecans mixture in. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
