Fresh bananas and strawberries make Straw-Ba-Nut Ice Cream a Blue Ribbon winner!
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
- red food coloring
Directions
- Beat sugar with eggs in large bowl until thick. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour into electric ice cream freezer container.
- Freeze using freezer directions. Remove dasher and cover top with foil. Let stand for 1 to 3 hours in ice and salt to harden.
