This deep-red colored cocktail is made with an interesting base of Angostura Aromatic bitters, and then complimented with fresh lime juice, orgeat syrup, curaçao and light rum to make a unique and delicious blend.
- 1-1/2 ounces Angostura Aromatic bitters
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 3/4 ounce orgeat syrup
- 3/4 ounce curaçao
- 1/2 ounce light rum
- Mint sprig to garnish
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the rum and garnish, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass filled with fresh, cracked ice.
- Float the rum on top of the drink and then garnish with the mint sprig; serve immediately.
