Slow cooked beef and vegetable soup

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless beef chuck, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/3 cups sliced carrots
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
  • 1 (1 ounce) package onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms

Directions

  1. Toss the beef pieces in the flour until well coated. Place in the slow cooker with the carrots, tomatoes, onion soup mix and water. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Stir in mushrooms, cover and cook an additional 10 minutes.
