If you are not sure what marinade to use on a particular protein remember this, a more mild protein, such as mahi-mahi fish, deserves a lighter marinade while rich salmon requires a stronger mix of spices such as this spicy paprika blend.
Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons coarse salt
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients into a small bowl and mix thoroughly until combined.
- Rub the mixture onto the protein of your choice prior to cooking and let stand for 30 minutes.
