Spiced Carrot Slices are infused with mustard, ginger and cinnamon.
Ingredients
- I, 16 ounce bag carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
Directions
- In 12 inch skillet over medium heat, in 1 inch boiling water, heat carrots to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain.
- In medium bowl, combine carrots with the remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to blend flavors, stirring occasionally.
