A sparkling orange and wine punch.


  • 6 oranges, unpeeled, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 bottle (750 milliliters) dry white wine
  • 3 bottle (750 milliliters) sparkling wine, chilled


  1. Arrange the orange slices in the bottom of a large glass or plastic container. Sprinkle the sugar over. Pour the white wine on top. Cover and chill for 8 hours.
  2. When ready to serve, pour the sparkling wine into the container.
