A light and refreshing gin-based, ginger-flavored champagne cocktail that can be served as a welcome drink or to accompany a toast, serve this elegant beverage in a sugar-rimmed champagne flute.
- 1 ounce gin
- 1 ounce Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon grenadine
- Sugar to rim
- Chilled champagne
- Rim a champagne flute with sugar and then set aside.
- Place the gin, ginger liqueur, lemon juice and grenadine into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and stir for 30 seconds to chill.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass, top with the champagne and serve immediately.
