Spanish Rice in a Crock Pot

This can be used as a side dish or wrapped in a flour tortilla as a meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground chuck
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 28 oz can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 16 oz can tomatoe sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups of uncooked rice

Directions

  1. In a skillet brown ground chuck.
  2. Drain.
  3. Place all ingredients in a crock pot.
  4. Mix together well.
  5. Cover and cook for 8 to 9 hours on low or 3 to 4 hours on high.
