Simple chicken, cheese and rice casserole.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup green onioins, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup rice
- 1/2 cup cheese
Directions
- Brown the onions in the fat. Mix in the salt, pepper and broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the rice. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Then allow to stand for 15 minutes.
- Add the chicken to the dish. Heat. Sprinkle with the cheese.
