Wonderful bread, serve with butter, jam or maple syrup!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup white or yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease an 8 inch square pan.
  2. Stir everything together, just enough to blend well.
  3. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
