Snuggle up to a nice slice of Sour Cream Coffee Cake and a cup of hot chocolate. Grab a best seller and it's me time!
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- Topping: 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Directions
- Cream butter, sugar and eggs until light. Sift dry ingredients and add them alternatively with the sour cream and vanilla.
- Spread half of the mixture in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
- Sprinkle with half of the topping. Add the other half of the batter. Sprinkle with the remaining topping..
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
