Snuggle up to a nice slice of Sour Cream Coffee Cake and a cup of hot chocolate.  Grab a best seller and it's me time!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Topping: 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions

  1. Cream butter, sugar and eggs until light. Sift dry ingredients and add them alternatively with the sour cream and vanilla.
  2. Spread half of the mixture in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle with half of the topping. Add the other half of the batter. Sprinkle with the remaining topping..
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
