Slow cooked filled apple dessert.
- 1/2 cup water
- 6 apples, cored
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- Pour the water into the slow cooker. Arrange the apples in the water.
- In a bowl mix together the sugar, raisins, walnuts and cinnamon. Fill the core of each apple. Dot with the butter.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
