Stovetop meat loaf.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 6 tablespoons chopped onion
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Mix together the first 7 ingredients, reserving 1/2 cup of the tomato sauce. Form 2 loaves.
- Melt the butter in a skillet. Brown both sides of the meat loaves. Cover and cook over low heat for 25-30 minutes.
- Combine the mustard, remaining tomato sauce, water and Worcestershire sauce. Drizzle over the meat loaves. Uncover and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
