Six Week Muffins are a great make ahead recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1, 15 ounce box raisin bran cereal
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 quart buttermilk
  • 5 cups flour, sifted
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Directions

  1. Mix bran, flour, sugar, soda and salt in large bowl. Blend well; add eggs, oil and milk. Blend well. Will store in refrigerator 6 weeks.
  2. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.
