This classic recipe for buttermilk dressing works well on a crisp iceberg lettuce salad sprinkled with crispy crumbled bacon.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- A few grinds of freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Place the buttermilk, mayonnaise, cider vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, parsley and garlic powder into a small bowl and whisk together to combine.
- Cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend. Re-stir before serving.
