This creamy tequila-based cocktail is a nice festive treat to serve over the holidays. Garnish with freshly ground cinnamon and a maraschino cherry for colorful contrast.
- 2 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce crème de cacao
- 1 ounce heavy cream
- Dash of grenadine
- Maraschino cherry and ground cinnamon to garnish
- Put a cocktail glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, except for the garnishes, and then fill the shaker with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice. Serve immediately.
