Silk Stockings Cocktail

This creamy tequila-based cocktail is a nice festive treat to serve over the holidays. Garnish with freshly ground cinnamon and a maraschino cherry for colorful contrast.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce crème de cacao
  • 1 ounce heavy cream
  • Dash of grenadine
  • Maraschino cherry and ground cinnamon to garnish

Directions

  1. Put a cocktail glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
  2. Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, except for the garnishes, and then fill the shaker with ice.
  3. Vigorously shake the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice. Serve immediately.
