Shredded Potato Casserole is a flavorful and easy make ahead side dish.
Ingredients
- 10 redskin potatoes
- Sauce: 8 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
- dash pepper
- 4 dashes nutmeg
- 1/2 stick butter, cubed
- sprinkle paprika
Directions
- Boil potatoes until tender. Peel when cooled and shred into a buttered casserole dish. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over potatoes. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking. Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour.
