A lighter alternative to traditional raisin cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Powdered sugar
Directions
- Soften butter and add to sugar; cream together, then add egg yolk, vanilla and salt, mixing well.
- Gently add flour, raisins and walnuts.
- Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 400F for 10 to 12 minutes.
