A simple 4 ingredient shortbread recipe.


  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2 cups flour
  • Sugar


  1. Beat the butter until creamed. Stir in the powdered sugar, and beat until fluffy. Add in the flour.
  2. Press into the bottom of a greased and floured 10x15-inch pan. Poke with a fork and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes. Reduce to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and bake an additional 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Cut into squares while still warm and sprinkle with sugar.
