This dip is the perfect centerpiece for your appetizer buffet table. Serve with a basket of tortilla chips for dipping.
Ingredients
- 1 can refried beans
- 2 avocados
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chunky salsa
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons sliced black olives
Directions
- In a small bowl, mix the refried beans with the taco seasoning mix. Spread this mixture on the bottom of a pie plate.
- Peel avocados and remove pits; mash well with a fork. Mix the avocado with the lemon juice; season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread evenly on top of the beans.
- Top avocado layer with layers of all the remaining ingredients in the order listed above, and refrigerate until chilled.
